Live Earth Imaging, Inc. (Live Earth) entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the Air Force Research Laboratory, Space Vehicles Directorate, Spacecraft Technology Division (AFRL). AFRL will collaborate with Live Earth on their development of a sensor-spacecraft design, which can potentially serve as a technical demonstration to address real-world USAF remote-sensing and on-board processing problems. The CRADA will leverage the best commercial practices to support emerging technologies in order to shorten the development timeline and lower the costs and risk to the USAF for design, build, and test of an operational, prototype spacecraft in geostationary Earth orbit (GSO).
